Illustration Friday, Crowded

Ink, watercolour, acrylic, combined digitally...

The farm down the road has a pen of heavily pregnant sheep patiently waiting to give birth.

Imagine if you were a black sheep in this crowd! Very nice sheep, love the purple background! Are you waiting on one of the lambs?

I love the way they're all looking in different directions, particularly the one at the back. Full of character and really well executed. :)

This is charming. I like their different expressions but I'm concerned about that one on the far right - is she sleepy or about to be sick? Maybe it is time for the little one is make its entrance...?

Lovely background, too.

Great sheep! I like the contrast between the sheep and the watercolour.

Cool, Nic. I love the little bird on the back of the one in back... poor sheep - I wonder what they think... (if they think).

For some reason this has sparked a whole raft of musical memories, predominantly a song by the Housemartins. Also that scene in 24 Hour Party People about a duck herding sheep. Nice effort.

I like the sheep and the background and the little bird and the one looking at the moon and the one on the right that looks really ready to pop. They're adorable

I like the background choice! Is it digital? Like a few other people, I expected to see a black sheep while it was loading. Kinda glad you surprised me by leaving them all white.
